WRMK Lawyers has promoted Chloe Davenport and Nicola Hartwell to senior lawyer.

Davenport has a broad background in the law. She advises on trusts, life planning, and property matters, including relationship property agreements, property transactions, and commercial leases. She also advises on wills, enduring powers of attorney, and occupation right agreements.

She joined the firm in 2017 and is based in the firm’s Kerikeri office. She previously practiced at Woodward Chrisp in Gisborne.

Hartwell, who is based in Whangarei, is a part of the firm’s litigation team. She specialises in civil litigation and insolvency matters. She also joined the firm in 2017.

Hartwell is highly involved in the Northland community as trustee of the Northland Foundation, as volunteer for the Bream Head Conservation Trust, and as coach of children at the Whangarei Heads Surf Club.

Wayne McKean, WRMK Lawyers managing director, said that the promotions not only recognise Davenport’s and Hartwell’s legal expertise, but also their excellent client service.

WRMK Lawyers was crowned the Regional/Suburban Law Firm of the Year and the Employer of Choice (<50 Lawyers) at this year’s New Zealand Law Awards.
