Law Society's Wellington branch elects new president

The Wellington branch of the New Zealand Law Society (NZLS) has elected Annette Gray as its new president, replacing outgoing president David Dunbar.

Gray is a family lawyer and partner at Wellington-based law firm Buchanan Gray. In addition to her family court practice, Gray is also an experienced property lawyer and a trained and qualified mediator. She was admitted as a barrister and solicitor in February 1986.

The Wellington branch held elections at its annual general meeting on 19 June. Members also elected Arti Chand and Christopher Griggs as vice presidents, as well as David Dunbar, Julius Maskell, Monique van Alphen Fyfe, Mark Wilton, Christian Jorgensen, Bridget Sinclair, and Nerissa Barber as council members.
