The winners in each category will be announced at the annual Halberg Awards function on the 9 February at the Vector Arena in Auckland.
The awards this year feature 24 individuals and groups nominated across six categories. Sixteen finalists from the Disabled Sportsperson, Sportsman, Sportswoman and Team of the year categories are all in the running for the supreme Halberg Award.
