Paul Holth has joined the Kensington Swan partnership.
The new partner, who joined the firm earlier in April as a special counsel, will play an integral role in growing the property business nationwide from his base in Wellington, Kensington Swan said.
Holth has 25 years’ legal experience in both New Zealand and the UK. He was a solicitor and then a partner at Fladgate, a leading central London firm. He also spent four years at Charles Russell Speechlys, before moving to New Zealand to become a residential property developer. He then joined Chapman Tripp, where he was last a senior associate.
An experienced commercial property and construction lawyer, he has advised both private sector and government clients, which include the NZ Transport Agency, the Ministry of Education, Wellington Waterfront, ANZ Bank, and Wellington Free Ambulance.
Holth, who said he was attracted to the firm because of its strategic focus on delivering service and results for clients, says he is excited to join John Meads and Ish Fraser in the firm’s Wellington property team.
“Paul’s experience and demonstrated skill in delivering both outcomes and a great experience for his clients will be a fantastic addition to Kensington Swan,” said Charles Spillane, Kensington Swan chief executive. “His infectious energy, extensive experience and vast specialist knowledge helps to further strengthen our national property practice.”
