Hesketh Henry has elevated two of its lawyers to senior positions.
Hak Jun Lee has been promoted to special counsel, while Sam Lee has been promoted to senior associate.
Hak Jun Lee, who is the firm’s third special counsel, leads Hesketh Henry’s Asia practice. He graduated from the University of Auckland and was admitted to practice in New Zealand in 2001. He is also admitted as an attorney in New York and in New South Wales.
Hak Jun lee is a specialist in commercial and property law. His practice includes work in complex business and property transactions, land development, banking and finance and foreign investments. He joined the firm as a senior associate in 2015 from Martelli McKegg.
Sam Lee, who joined the firm as a solicitor in 2015 from MinterEllisonRuddWatts, is a member of the firm’s commercial property group. He specialises in commercial contracts, commercial leases, and general property matters. He graduated with an LLB from the University of Canterbury. Before joining private-practice firms, he was a solicitor at the Office of Legal Counsel of the Ministry of Justice.
