Firm promotes 9 new associates and senior associates

Wynn Williams has appointed a whopping nine new associates and senior associates in the firm’s annual round of promotions this year.

Auckland-based corporate and finance lawyer Nick Kovacevich has been appointed senior associate.  Specialising in public and private M&A, private equity, start-ups and joint ventures, Kovacevich advises on general corporate and commercial matters.

Lucy de Latour and Michelle Mehlhopt have been appointed senior associates in the Christchurch office.  In the Resource Management and Environmental Law team, de Latour and Mehlhopt bothe specialise in local government law with a detailed knowledge of district and regional plan formation and plan change processes and resource consent applications.

Charlene Sell has been appointed in the commercial team.  Based in Christchurch, Sell has expertise includes business acquisitions and sales, drafting and providing advice on commercial contracts and terms of trade, dealing with employment matters and helping clients' protect their brand.

In the Litigation & Dispute Resolution team, Christchurch based lawyer Stephanie Woods has been appointed senior associate.  Acting for plaintiffs in earthquake insurance disputes, Woods has experience acting for a range of insurers and insureds in professional indemnity matters.

The firm has appointed three new Litigation& Dispute Resolution associates; Guy Carter, Matthew Prendergast and Harry Shaw appointed in the Christchurch office.  Jenny Marren has been appointed associate in the Private Client & Rural team, also in the Christchurch office.
