Crown prosecutor appointed District Court judge

Crown prosecutor Tini Clark has been appointed as a District Court judge with a jury warrant.

The new judge, who has more than two decades of legal experience, will be sworn in on 10 August in Taukau, Attorney-General David Parker announced. She will be based in Manukau.

The judge was admitted to the bar in 1994 after graduating from Te Whare Wānanga o Waikato. She is of Tanui descent ­– Ngāti Tīpa, Ngāti Tahinga, and Ngāti Āmaru.

Since 2004, she has been a Crown prosecutor with Almao Douch in Hamilton. She has prosecuted numerous jury trials in the District Court and High Court.
