Buddle Findlay promotes three to senior associate

Buddle Findlay has promoted Danielle Kelly, Alastair Pettitt, and Shaun Brookes to senior associate.

Kelly, who is based in Auckland, is an expert in banking and finance. She moved to the firm last year after working at Ashurst in London. She has extensive experience in domestic and international financing transactions, particularly in leveraged and acquisition finance, corporate lending, debt restructuring, and real estate and development finance.

Also based in Auckland, Pettitt is a specialist in commercial property and local government law. He advises on a broad range of real estate matters, including property development, local government issues, compulsory acquisitions, commercial leasing, acquisitions and divestments, subdivisions of land and property finance.

Brookes, who is based in Christchurch, is known for his work in employment law, industrial relations, health and safety, dispute resolution, and litigation. His employment law work includes matters related to terminations, bullying, redundancy and restructuring, Holiday Act entitlements, and industrial relations. He also acts on regulatory enforcement and prosecution matters.

Buddle Findlay also recently welcomed senior associate Frances Wedde in Wellington from Kensington Swan. It also recently brought in Tom Bennett and promoted Sarah McEwan to the partnership.
