has retained its status as the top legal firm in the New Zealand market, according to the latest rankings published by the IFLR1000.
In its newest guide to the world’s top financial and corporate law firms and lawyers, the IFLR1000 rated Bell Gully as having the most leading lawyers and top-tier practice rankings among the New Zealand firms.
The latest guide ranked Bell Gully for all four of the practice areas covered in its financial and corporate guide: banking and finance, capital markets, corporate and M&A and restructuring and insolvency.
In a separate guide in June, the IFLR1000 also graded Bell Gully as a top-tier firm in energy and infrastructure.
With 10 partners currently ranked as leading lawyers in the IFLR1000, Bell Gully remains as the firm with the highest number of top lawyers in New Zealand.
“The results reflect the firm's involvement in some of the biggest and most complex deals in the market,” said Bell Gully chairman Chris Gordon
“In an increasingly competitive market, the results also reflect our clients’ confidence in what we do and exemplify the commitment that we have to achieving results for them,” Gordon added.
