Multinational firm Webb Henderson has announced the promotion of Michael Gartshore to the partnership and Edward Willis to the position of senior associate in its Auckland office.
Gartshore advises clients on the full range of corporate and commercial transactions, including mergers, acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures, takeovers, corporate restructurings, foreign investment in New Zealand and other corporate advisory, commercial contract and governance matters. He also advises on energy and infrastructure projects. Gartshore joined Webb Henderson in 2011, having previously worked at Linklaters and Russell McVeagh.
His previous work has included advising Ironbridge Capital and other shareholders of EnviroWaste on its sale to CKI and IAG New Zealand on its acquisition of Lumley General Insurance and AMI Insurance.

Edward Willis is a regulatory law specialist who advises on the full range of competition law, economic regulation, and other legal and policy matters. He has particular experience working with clients in telecommunications, energy, finance, transport and media sectors.
