Lighter side: ‘No Pokemon trainers’, courts warn

by NZ Lawyer29 Jul 2016
The new game luring players to strange locations in search of fictitious critters is causing an enslave of people in NSW Court houses, so many that the state’s Department of Justice has been forced to issue a warning on it’s Facebook page:
“Attention budding Pokemon trainers,” the warning reads.
“You do not need to step inside a Courthouse to find Pokemon.”
The notice is a little more serious when it reminds trainers that the use of recording devices in NSW Courts is prohibited and carries a fine of $22,000 and or 12 months’ imprisonment, before signing off with, “Stay safe and catch ‘em all!”
