Law firm appoints new partner

Jackson Russell has appointed a new partner to its property and personal cient team.

Israel Vaealiki has joined the firm to lead its trusts and estates team. He has more than 14 years’ experience in this specialist area and advises clients on trusts, wills, estates, succession planning, matrimonial/relationship property issues and philanthropy.

“We are delighted to welcome Israel to the partnership”, said property and personal client partner, Richard Wilson.

“This follows continuing client growth for Jackson Russell in the practice areas of property, local and international trusts, estate planning and administration. Israel’s appointment will enhance the range of services and expertise available to clients”.

Israel has practised in Auckland for more than 10 years advising high net worth clients and families on complex trust, estate and succession planning issues.

Prior to practising in Auckland he worked overseas as in-house counsel for a trustee company.
