    Throwing away time sheets as a response to fee pressure mistakes time sheets for what they are - an excellent time management tool. The area for exploration is in time billing, which should be a discretionary exercise, but is often mechanical. All billing in the end should be strongly value based - what is this worth to the person paying for it?
