comprises a false or misleading statement or representation;
constitutes misleading or deceptive conduct;
is defamatory in any jurisdiction;
is a breach of copyright or other intellectual property right;
exhorts or counsels any person to commit an offence against the criminal or civil law;
shows nudity, partial nudity or adult content
contravenes publications classifications laws;
contravenes discrimination or anti-vilification laws; or
contravenes laws governing and restricting political advertising.
You may post to NZ Lawyer forum only under your own username and you must not utilise the forum in a manner by which you purport to be someone else.
The NZ Lawyer website reserves the right to remove any postings to the discussion forums that contravene any of the limitations referred to above, which contain expletives or foul language, which are considered to be discourteous or which otherwise the managers of the NZ Lawyer website in their sole discretion consider to be inappropriate for inclusion in the forums, and this may be done without any prior notice to the person who has contributed that posting.
Our forum policy follows a four strike system.
1) First warning
2) Second warning and subsequent three day ban
3) Third warning and subsequent seven day ban
4) Fourth warning permanent ban
If NZ Lawyer management deems necessary, steps 1-3 may be skipped and a permanent ban issued with no prior warning, depending on the severity of the violation(s).
